📝 1. Terms and Conditions – Sawa Shopping

1. Definitions

• Platform: Sawa Shopping (www.sawashopping.com or mobile app).

• User: Any individual or entity using the platform (includes buyers and sellers).

• Buyer: A user who purchases products.

• Seller/Vendor: A user who lists products for sale.

• We/Us/Our: Refers to Sawa Shopping and its owning entity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the platform. By registering, you confirm you meet these criteria.

3. User Accounts

• Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud or violation of these Terms.

4. Marketplace Role

• We do not own the products listed by sellers.

• We are not liable for the quality, legality, or safety of the products.

• We facilitate payments and customer service but do not act as a seller unless specified.

5. Seller Obligations

• Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and stock availability.

• Fulfill orders promptly and handle returns in line with our policies.

• Comply with Lebanese laws, including tax obligations.

• Not list prohibited items (e.g., counterfeit goods, illegal products).

6. Buyer Obligations

• Provide correct delivery and payment information.

• Not engage in fraudulent chargebacks or abuse return policies.

• Use the platform for lawful purchases only.

7. Order Processing and Payments

• Payments are processed securely through payment gateway.

• Buyers are charged upon order confirmation.

• Vendors receive payouts after the return period or upon delivery confirmation, subject to service fees.

8. Fees and Commissions

Sawa Shopping charges sellers a commission per sale. Rates may vary by category and are communicated upon seller registration. Other fees (e.g., listing fees, promotional fees) may apply.

9. Shipping and Returns

• Sellers are responsible for delivering orders on time.

• Buyers must initiate return requests within 15 days of delivery.

• Return/refund eligibility is subject to our Return Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform (text, logos, images, software) is the property of Sawa Shopping or its licensors. Users may not reproduce or misuse any content without written permission.

11. Prohibited Conduct

• Upload or sell illegal, counterfeit, or stolen items.

• Interfere with the platform’s operations or security.

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated systems.

• Harass or defraud other users.

12. Privacy

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any damages arising from product issues, delivery failures, or disputes between buyers and sellers.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
